A Travellerspoint blog

how to navigate this blog

The blog will always open at the last entry. Sometimes I will do two or maybe even 3 entries at a time. If you go the the index it will show the order of blogs, or you can scroll down on the one that comes up.
Thanks for all the comments and following along. I hope to add another blog tomorrow but the internet in Bagan is painful. Having a blast though.

Hi guys: Glad to hear you are having so much fun! Great work (play?) with the elementary school kids. Deb, do the people eat as many bugs and stuff as in other places in Southeast Asia? Thursday Alexa's band plays at CBC Vancouver for a live taping and Friday they're planning a gig to help raise funds for a van as they will be touring soon. I have been dog sitting for about a month while thier owners tour Europe and its given Echo no end of enjoyment (and sometimes jealousy of course). I will be trying to find one dog at a time to sit as it provides Echo with a companion if I have to go out and it is a very passive income. We gave Laurel and Michael a night at a downtown hotel (among other things) for Christmas and Neil and I will babysit Coco in thier apartment for the night. They're ecstatic! Donna is coming over for a visit on Friday for the GFG show and will likely bring Aria as well so we will be enjoying an all girls weekend. We haven't done that since Alexa was 2. Mom is really well. We gave her an iPad for Christmas so I'm going to give her the link to your blog so she can follow along as well...she'll love that. Tim and Grace invited her to Mexico in March but she won't go because of that fear that older people get when they hear murder and Mexico mentioned in the same sentence. It does no good to explain that Myanmar is one of the "deadliest" places on the planet to travel according to the fear mongers :) Thought you might enjoy a few words from home...Keep on keepin' on. Love Jacki

I"m enjoying your travels immensely, wish I was there. What are you finding is the main difference travelling in Burma in comparison to the other Asian countries you've travelled to? Great descriptions, feel as if I'm there.

Family stuff - I forwarded (to your yahoo address) the email from Devon about places to stay at the Sunriver Resort (www.sunriver-resort.com) in central Oregon for the family reunion at the end of July; wanted to make sure you got it. Will talk to Doug as well.
